When I woke up, it was pouring rain outside. Just my luck, I had left my window open the night before. Now my floor was soaked with water. Usually, I don’t leave my homework on the floor, but the previous night, I left it right under the window. Now, all that was left of my homework was a wet pile of mush. After I finished rewriting my homework, I decided to make myself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I spread the peanut butter on the bread, but when I opened the refrigerator to get out the jelly and milk, I found out that we were out of both. After I choked down my plain peanut butter sandwich, with no milk, I decided to watch my favorite show. When I tried to turn on the television, it wouldn’t come on.

Needless to say, the rest of my day was just as bad, if not worse, than the beginning.
