I got up one day and looked in the mirror. And my hair was sticking up every which way. When we got stopped by a train we were already late. When I got to school, I looked so bad I had jelly all over my face. In English, I forgot my name. In band my flute squeaked. Finally lunch...a time to relax. I looked in my bag and there was no lunch. In Literature, we had a pop quiz. The bus was so noisey a police officer stopped it and took us to the police station. Arriving at the bus stop it started to pour. I was soaked when I got home and discovered I forgot my key. I was locked out of my house sitting in the rain. When Mom came home I told her about my day. She said, "there are only bad moments." "Ha!" I said. Back to the Coolidge School Contest
