Cupcakes in Disguise! by Becca (age 11)

This recipe is called "Cupcakes in Disguise" because it's really a cupcake in a ice cream cone. It looks like a cone with ice cream in it. I like this recipe alot because it's delicious, easy to make, and very, very cute!

These are the things you need:

  • a package of ice cream cones
  • a can of frosting
  • a box of cake mix
  • 11/4 water
  • 1/3 oil
  • 3 eggs
  • decorations of your choice (sprinkles, M&Ms, etc.)
Next, follow the directions on the cake mix box. (Remember to ask your parents if you can cook).

After the batter is mixed, put your ice cream cones on a cookie sheet. Fill each cone 3/4 full. Be careful trying to put them in the oven. It's tricky! Bake for 10-15 minutes at 325 degrees.

Once the cupcakes are done, frost and decorate them. Don't forget to clean up!!
