STARTING LINE-UP

The Bulls have taken the fifth. On Friday the 13th of all days, the Bulls took their fifth championship title in 7 years. Once again Chicago was led to victory by the combined efforts of Jordan and Pippen, not to lessen the importance of the contributions of the rest of the team or the coaches.
The Chicago Bulls are practically perfect as a basketball team, but I do have some problems with their management. Something seems seriously wrong with Krause and Reinsdorf. When asked if they were going to trade Pippen and Rodman their answers were basically I don’t know. When you’ve got a team as unbelievably successful as the Bulls you try to keep them as is. You keep the producing players where they are. Pippen and Rodman are part of the backbone of the team and pulling them from it would destroy the flow of the team's game.

Michael Jordan has once again proved himself to be the greatest basketball player of all time. And in game five he displayed his willingness to place the team in front of his own health. He played sick and still managed to score 39 points, the most points scored by a single player in that game. Jordan cannot be praised enough for what he has brought to Chicago. He has led this team to victory despite many hardships, including the murder of his father. He truly deserved the honor of being MVP.

The Chicago Bulls should finally be recognized as the greatest basketball team of all time, they certainly deserve it. They have accomplished something other teams can only dream of, something other teams will never see if the Bulls maintain their championship chemistry.
