Eating Dirt Can Be Fun! by Becca (age 11)

| Dirt Cake is a great recipe. It tastes wonderful. What's best about it is that the chocolate cookies look like dirt, and you can put this dessert in a flower pot and fool your friends! Don't forget to ask your parents if you can make it! |  |
These are the ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs. oreos
- 1 eight ounce pkg of cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 sticks butter or margerine
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- 2 pkgs instant vanilla pudding (4 oz size)
- 12 ounces whipped topping (cool whip)
Crush cookies in a blender and set aside. Cream together cream cheese and butter then add powdered sugar. Mix together milk and pudding until thick. Add cool whip and cheese mixture to the pudding. Layer cookie crumbs with the cheese mixture into whateve r pan or pot you choose. You can even add silk flowers to make this dessert complete!
