The Last Thing Holyfield Expected! |
On June 28th, many people all over the world sat watching as Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield battled it out for the heavyweight boxing title of the world. Little did they know it would be a waste of money and a waste of time.
In the 3rd round, Tyson did something that no one has ever seen. Desperate to win, he bit Holyfield's ears twice. The first time he bit a chunk of his ear off. The second time Tyson bit Holyfield's ear, Tyson was disqualified.
On July 9, the Nevada Commission came up with a punishment. They suspended Tyson for 1 year and fined him.
I don't think that was enough. I think what Tyson did was unacceptable. He is a complete disgrace to boxing and changed the sport of boxing for a long time. Tyson should be banned from boxing and should undergo psychiatric therapy.
A few years ago, Tyson went to jail for rape. After being in jail it should be no surprise to anyone that he bit Holyfield's ear.
Many people may agree or disagree with me. But it doesn't matter because this is my opinion.
