computer-based LincolnNet, the
telephone-based InfoLine is another important and useful resource for the
South
Metro Region. Because
the InfoLine does not require a computer or a modem, it is available to
everyone in the region who has a telephone. By dialing 708/235-4132,
residents have access to a wide variety of information.
The Daycare Center Locator

code, you can hear a listing of daycare centers in your
area.
The Health Net
-- the Health Net provides you with a variety
of resources, including the HIV Hotline, a listing of mental
health services by zip code, and a zip code based directory of
other health services in and around your area.
The Job Net
-- arranged by county, you can hear a listing of
the employment offices in the south metro region.
The "Voices of Phoenix" Network
-- the Village of Phoenix, Illlinois is experimenting with
the Lincoln InfoLine as a communication tool for its community members.
Current applications include a "message from the Mayor," community
announcements, and voice mailboxes for all Phoenix residents.
