Governors State University (GSU) was very fortunate to be the recipient of a 1995 TIIAP grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce. Our experiences during the past 18 months have run the gamut, ranging from mountain top experiences to those that would be more accurately associated with the valley. During our grant period, we found the work to be constantly challenging, frequently ambitious, but always rewarding. Our goals and objectives for the Lincoln Project were formidable, and yet it is exciting to be able to look back with a sense accomplishment at what our region has been able to accomplish together.
