The South Suburban Foundation is the heart of our
organization. It was established on January 24, 1984, as a funding
entity with the purpose of supporting the charitable mission of The South
Suburban Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse. Declining public
funding has intensified our need for foundation and public giving in order
to continue to meet the growing treatment demands of our local
communities.
For information on how you can support this effort, please
email The South Suburban Foundation. The generosity of our many supporters including
individuals, families, local businesses, corporations and foundations
enables us to provide treatment for chemically dependent individuals and
their families who would not otherwise have access to treatment. On
behalf of the thousands of individuals and families that your kindness
impacts, we would like to express our sincere appreciation and
gratitude.
