AAL Branch #3466 Trip to Ravinia,
August 27, 2000
|
|
| |
This year's trip to Ravinia sponsored by AAL Branch #3466 was attended by only
fifteen people. Still, the weather was beautiful and those that went had a good time listening to Erich Kunzel direct
the Ravinia Festival Orchestra in a concert that celebrated Twentieth Century Broadway.

"Hope for the Arts" Musical Production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown!",
October 7 & 8.
|
|
| |
There were three performances of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown!" over the weekend of October 7 & 8.
Audiences were delighted by the antics of the characters from the world-famous comic strip of the late Charles Schultz - Patty (Dawn Fitzpatrick), Schroeder (John Kapost), Linus
(the Reverend Andy Leahy), Lucy (Christine Rechsteiner), Snoopy (Adam DiCappio), and Charlie Brown (Eric Rechsteiner). Funds raised by the performances went to
support the trip to the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod's Triennial Youth Enclave in New Orleans planned by the Youth Active at Hope (YAH) in the summer of 2001.
Funds raised by these performances were matched by the Aid Association for Lutherans.
