| A legal, insurance, and investment seminar will be held in Luther Hall immediately after the 10:30 a.m service. Attorney Richard Treichel and a representative from Thrivent Financial will be on hand to address issues about wills, insurance, and investments. A continental breakfast will be served. | ||||

| Keeping Faith in the Workplace | ||||
| Are you facing difficulties on your job that leave you feeling tense or depressed even after you leave work? Are there situations outside of your job that are having a deleterious effect on the way you do your job? Are you dealing with thorny ethical or interpersonal issues at work? Do you sometimes feel like inflicting bodily harm upon your co-workers? Do you feel the need to discuss these issues with people you can trust? Maybe the "Keeping Faith in the Workplace" support group can help. Our meeting in November will be on Thursday, November 10th, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the auxiliary conference room. | ||||

| Painting Party in Luther Hall | ||||
| NO SPARE PARTS! There is a time for everything - Saturday, November 5th, is a time to paint! Have you seen the new ceiling lights around the perimeter of Luther Hall? The old, scorched and melted plastic lights have been replaced. Now we need to freshen up the paint. Lots of volunteers make for easy and fun work. We will start at 8 a.m. and will finish at around 2 p.m. Lunch for the workers will be served at around noon. | ||||

| Hope's New Constitution | ||||
| NO SPARE PARTS! An open forum to discuss our proposed new constitution will be held on Sunday, October 30th, right after the 10:30 a.m. service. Copies of the new constitution (with changes from our present constitution highlighted) are available in the narthex. To be good stewards of our finances, we decided not to mail a copy to every member. If you take a copy, please bring it with you to the open forum. | ||||
Since the congregation will vote on the proposed constitution at the end of the year, now is the time to bring up any questions or concerns that you may have, so please come to the open forum to participate in the discussion. |
