Plans for Autumn and Highlights from the Summer Reading Party

The Youth Services Department of the Park Forest Public Library will be offering a variety of programs and workshops this fall. There will be NO CHARGE for any of the programs. However, attendance to some programs and workshops will be limited.

STORYTIME PARADE (preschool storytime for ages 3-6)  September 8 – November 3.
Three sessions to choose from: Mondays at 7:00 pm; Tuesdays at 2:00 pm; Thursdays at 2:00 pm.
Registration begins Monday, August 25, 2003

Programs will be also be offered from September through December. Some of the programs are related to Stamp Collecting Month (October), Fire Prevention Month (October), Teen Read Week (October 19-25), Children’s Book Week (November 17-23), Halloween Craft (October 27), Thanksgiving Craft (November 24) and Holiday Craft (December 16).

After-school craft for school age children: Craft-A-Story will be offered on the third Tuesday of the month at 3:30 pm.

Congratulations to the young readers who enrolled in the
Summer Reading Program, 5500 books were read!
