Student or faculty poetry readings are held periodically at the community colleges and universities in the South Metro Region. Could we have the readings, or the Rita Dove reading in Chicago, listed on a calendar? Are the names and addresses of student literary/music/aesthetics publications available to student groups? Info on arts groups through park district or churches?

I enjoyed going over the arts survey...I think that the type of collaboration reflected here is a wonderful idea for the region. The survey seems to conclude that one of the major barriers toward attracting visitors to the region is "lack of communication." I hope this forum will be one of the ways that we can overcome that particular barrier. I look forward to reading the discussion that goes on here!
