My best friends parents were in a car accident. His father died in the crash and his mother is in critical condition. I'm handling all the funeral arangements for his family. I was very close to his father and this is pretty tough on me too. I knew him for about 18 years so I am a little shaken up. I may be able to meet you by the middle of next week or the following weekend. I'll e-mail when I get some more information. I did it on my laptop and its like its a whole new box! According to the benchmarks I ran, on the two tests I increased in speed by about 12% on one test and about 380% on the other. Go to http://oreilly.linux.com/pub/a/linux/2000/06/29/hdparm.html Trust me, it was worth it and it only took about 15 minutes. Tom
