The Village has one of the largest commuter parking lots in the South
Suburbs serving the METRA Electric line. For parking information please
contact the Village Hall.
Road Construction
Beginning Monday April 20, 1998, 175th street from Halsted to Ashland
will be reconstructed. This will result in 175th street being closed to
all Eastbound traffic. Construction should be completed by October.
Any complaints about traffic problems on local streets should be
directed to the Police Department at .
Commuter Parking Lot
During this summer the Commuter Parking Lot West of Wood St. will be
reconstructed. This project will include new lighting, additional parking,
coin drop boxes and new pavement. Watch for updates here on construction
