Frankfort Elementary School District 157-C
District 157-C has three schools accommodating 1,370 students. Grand Prairie Elementary School educates grades K thru 2; Chelsea School educates grades 3 & 4; Hickory Creek School / Frankfort Jr High School educates grades K & 5 thru 8.

Project B.E.G.I.N. (Better Education Growth Invested Now) offers services to families considered at risk through many factors that might include language barriers, a parent's education levels, single parent families, blended families, foster care, health or medical difficulties, or income levels, etc.

The 157-C School Board meets at 7:00 pm on the third Monday of each month.

Summit Hill School District 161
District 161 has five schools which serve 2,200 students from portions of the Village of Frankfort, Mokena, Tinley Park, and unincorporated Frankfort Township which includes Frankfort Square. Arbury Hills Elementary School educates grades K-4; Indian Trail Elementary Schools educates grades K-4; Frankfort Square Elementary Schools educates K-4; Hilda Walker Intermediate School educates grades 5-6 and the District's full day kindergarten students; Summit Hill Jr. High educates students in grades 7-8.

The 161 Board of Education meets at 7:30 P.M. on the second Wednesday of every month and on the fourth Wednesday of each month except June, July, November and December.

Lincoln-Way Community High School district 210 was organized in 1951 by area voters. Since Linclon-Way opened its doors in 1954, enrollment has grown from 306 to over 4100.

The district has one school, two campuses. The modern, spacious and well-equipped buildings offer a 2/2 grade configuration and are located on large expanses of land located 40 miles southwest of Chicago. The district serves about 70,000 residents from the villages of Frankfort Manhattan Mokena, New Lenox and Tinley Park as well as large unincorporated areas. Lincoln-Way High School, Central Campus, is located in New Lenox and Educates the junior and senior students. Lincoln-Way High School, East Campus, is located in Frankfort, and educates the freshman and sophomore students.

The district has received several national and state awards for the excellent education system and community support.
