About The Tinley Park Police Department

The Tinley Park Police Department employs a staff of 65 full time sworn Police Officers and 24 Part-Time Officers, 16 Radio Operators, and 13 civilian employees, all who are dedicated to the service and protection of our citizens.

We are located approximately 20 miles South West of downtown Chicago, and sustain a continuing growing population of over 47,000 residents, and 185 linear miles of streets.
